What made you want a career in finance?

Investments and finance topics have always intrigued me.  In college I enjoyed learning about the complexity of finance and the seemingly basic principles which allow you to amass assets through prudent planning strategies.  The more I studied, the more I learned, the more certain I was that I would make my career in finance.

What do you like best about being a part of SFP family?

Most of all I enjoy working as a member of a team, in collaboration with the rest of the SFP family, all of whom are people I trust and genuinely care about.  At Signature we are a team of professionals working towards a common goal to provide first class financial planning, wealth management and personal service to our clients.

How do you want your clients to view their wealth?

I want our clients to understand that wealth isn’t created overnight.  It is a unique and ongoing process for every investor.  At Signature, we help our clients identify their life goals and measure their financial success with regard to achieving their goals.  I want our clients to look at where they are in the process, and take pride in where they are with regard to asset accumulation each step of the way.

On a professional level, what are your biggest accomplishments?

When I started at Signature, I obtained my Series 7, General Securities Representative and Series 66, Uniform Combined State Law to become a licensed financial advisor representative. Since then I’ve adopted and mastered a program that assists clients in achieving their goals. Additionally, I have taken steps to involve myself in the financial community through my participation with several peer groups designed to continue to develop best practices.

What do you love to do outside of work?

Spending time with my friends and family is what I value most outside of work.  I also enjoy traveling and am currently taking classes to learn to speak Italian.

What are you passionate about in your personal life?

I enjoy volunteering at various organizations and getting involved in build and rebuild communities.  As often as I can, I also take the opportunity to better myself through personal growth and professional education.

What is your most memorable travel experience?

In 2013 I visited a very close friend who was living in Italy.  She was working as a tour guide for American students and was considered a local.  For two weeks, we traveled all over the country and tasted the “buonissimo cibo” – which translates to “delicious food”.  It was my first time to Italy, and it was truly amazing in all aspects.
